The New Look of Bangs

The New Look of Bangs

One of the biggest hairstyle dilemmas is whether or not to get bangs. You've probably gone through it a couple of times already. Not only do you need to decide if you want to get bangs, but you also have to decide how you want to style them according to what's hot right now.

Luckily, bangs are in these days. To be specific, short bangs are in. We're talking about baby bangs cut way above your eyebrows.

1.      The Right Texture

If your hair is super straight, then baby bangs are easier to pull off. However, even if you have a slight wave or full-on curly hair, you can still get great texture for a shorter bang. It'll require some work, though. Those with strong cowlicks will want to pass up on this trend as such hair texture makes it near impossible to style bangs.

2.      Bring a Photo

The latest trend of baby bangs has the hair at least an inch or more above the brow. Before making a commitment, always bring a couple of photos of the look you're trying to have. The end goal should be to come up with a cut that fits your face shape and the amount of hair you have.

3.      How to Style

Now that you have the baby bangs you've always wanted, don't forget to spray a smoothing detangler lightly and comb through your bangs so they lay as flat and straight as possible. If you're in a hurry, just wear a tight-fitting beanie to keep your bangs in place while you're waiting for them to dry.
